Christine Ebrahim
Ankh Consulting International (ACI) was founded by Christine Ebrahim, a dynamic, authentic and compassionate woman, trainer and entrepreneur who believes there is place in this world for everyone to thrive and live their authentic life. The ankh was used in pharaonic times to symbolize life. You might have guessed it, Christine is of Egyptian origin and is fascinated by the cosmopolitan life that her birth city, Alexandria, was once known for.
Christine’s love for encounters, travel, diversity and authenticity led her to found ACI. Her own experience of struggles to belong in her adoptive country, Canada, pushed her to be part of the solution to the difficulties of inclusion and racism.
She is proud to have signed her first contract in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion with McGill University, in 2021. Since, she has been helping several organizations to be more inclusive and transform their workplaces.
Christine has worked as a Canadian Diplomat for over six years and had the chance to work in Iran, Portugal and Saudi Arabia. She also worked for other Federal government departments and supported the Workplace Equity Division at Employment and Social Development Canada. She enjoys learning languages to better connect with those she encounters and masters three of them: English, French and Arabic. She is now learning Kinyarwanda.
She is known to be profound thinker, a strong communicator and an emotionally intelligent person who seeks to contribute to a divided world by creating bridges, showing compassion and building inclusive environments. She holds a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from York University and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
